CFCL Australia is focussed on providing innovative solutions to the booming minerals and ore market in Australia. 

Currenlty CFCL Australia provide a train of 46 hoppers to OM Manganese Ltd for the haulage of Manganese lumps and fines from Bootu Creek (110km north of Tennant Creek) to the Port of Darwin, where the manganese os shipped to Qinzhou smelter in China.  When in full production, the train will carry over 550,000 tonnes per annum, and travel over 350,000km per annum. 

Brand new CHAY ore hoppers are being built by Bluebird Rail Operations in Adelaide.  These hoppers will be in a twin pack configuration, and will have a variable volumetric capacity of 64 to 106 cubic metres, allowing the haulage of various minerals, ores, and aggregate.  Each hopper has a pair of 6 metre long discharge gates, and an internal slope sheet of 67 degrees, ensuring that any product can be discharged with ease. 

The first 35 twin pack CHAY hoppers are destined for the Northern Territory, carrying iron Ore for 'Territory Iron'.
